Jennifer Lopez deal with 'Idol' imminent

" NEW YORK (AP) — A person familiar with negotiations to bring Jennifer Lopez back as an "American Idol" judge says her return will be announced this week. The person said Monday that a deal is close to being signed with Lopez, who was an "Idol" judge for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. The person wasn't authorized to comment publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity. The person says Lopez decided to rejoin the show because its production schedule will allow her to spend more time with her children, 5-year-old twins Emme and Max. Lopez will join returning judge Keith Urban and a third person who hasn't been announced. Fox has declined to comment on whether Lopez is joining "American Idol" and did not immediately respond to another request for comment Monday. Yet no one really buys a particular car or truck based on nothing but a quality number; the majority of tire-kickers invest more emotion in their vehicle purchase than they do when buying, say, a new toaster. That's why J.D. Power annually surveys 83,000 new owners about what's gone right with their vehicles — and this year's results show that bigger often equals better. Many of the results J.D. Power draws from the 2013 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) survey sound like common sense: Carbuyers pay more up front for attractive vehicles, get more back when they sell them used and are more likely to buy from the same brand again. The insight comes from quantifying those attractions in terms carmakers can understand; vehicles with an APEAL score that's at least 100 points above the average for any given segment garner $1,800 more per sale than those whose scores lag the average by a similar amount."

Lisa Robin Kelly's Autopsy Completed, Cause of Death Still Unknown

"An autopsy has been completed on former That '70s Show star Lisa Robin Kelly, but her cause of death probably won't be known for another couple of months, CNN reports. It will take eight to 10 weeks to get toxicology results back for the actress, who died at a rehab facility last week at age 43. Fall TV Preview: Where we left off with returning shows Kelly had voluntarily checked herself into the facility to seek treatment for addiction issues. She passed away in her sleep Wednesday evening. The actress is best known for playing Laurie Forman, the older sister of Eric Forman (Topher Grace) on That '70s Show."
